Concepts for the Flerken for Captain Marvel.

For this, they wanted to make sure it seemed like another creature was coming out of the cat's mouth and not just tentacles. They wanted some kind of base/part of a creature's body, large tentacles to attack with, and tiny tentacles to grab the Tesseract with (Eventually the tiny tentacles were removed). They had a previous keyframe from the Marvel Art Dept but wanted to go back to blue sky exploration and open it up to some more ideas. It was really fun to explore and carry it to the final you see in the film.
